Often when people preach about end-time events, they tend to focus on what satan is doing rather than on what God is doing. Of course, negative things will transpire, but the emphasis of the end-time is about the return of Christ. It is about Yeshua (Jesus) appearing. It is about the coming presence of the Lord—His Parousia.
The Bible is centered on Christ. It is not centered on the antichrist, nor is it centered on satan or what he is doing. The Bible is also centered on Israel and the fulfillment of God’s covenant with the sons of Abraham. The Scriptures emphasize the geographical area around the land of Israel and the Middle East. Sometimes people ask me, “What about America during these end-time events?” Well, the Bible is not talking about America; it is talking about Jerusalem. But if you want to know what happens to America in the end times, just know that it depends on what America does in relating to Israel. According to the covenant, those who bless Israel will be blessed (Genesis 12:3). If you want to know what will happen to a particular nation, just watch and see. Those nations that bless Israel will be blessed and those that curse Israel will be cursed.
Another aspect of the end-time is that things will happen in a moment. In one hour the great wealth of Babylon will be laid waste (Revelation 18:17). In a day God will abolish the weapons of war and make Israel lie down in safety (Hosea 2:18). Referring to the land of Israel, God declared, “I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day” (Zechariah 3:9).1 The Christian church is in a tizzy because the Jews do not believe in Jesus. Get over it! They are saved by a covenant. In one day God is going to save them, cleanse them, and wash them from their sins. So do not get locked into anything regarding Israel or the Jewish people. Be careful because Christianity does not have a history of blessing the Jews. Do not forget that Christianity was a big part of what happened in Germany with the Holocaust. Instead of being anti-Semitic, find a way to bless the Jewish nation. Be on the right side of God’s covenant with Israel. In one day everything can change!
The end-time is about God doing what He said He was going to do. He is going to finalize His Kingdom and rule and reign in Jerusalem with His people (Micah 4:1-3). We will see signs in the heavens, wars and rumors of war, and men fainting from fear. But Yeshua encouraged us, “When these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near” (Luke 21:28). If you want to talk about end-time events, look for the salvation that releases the earth from futility. The end-time is not about the antichrist, beasts, or false prophets. It is about a revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Let everything else fade into insignificance. It is all about God’s Kingdom. God is going to do something new that will spring forth quickly (Isaiah 43:19). He loves humanity and desires that all men “be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). Believe for a flood of God’s love to sweep away satan and his evil hosts. The point of the end-time is salvation and not judgment. God loves the world (John 3:16).
