Our cry is for the authority of God’s Kingdom to descend upon this earth until every nation is ruled under the Lordship of Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah. Every tongue will confess, and every knee will bow to the authority of Christ in His Kingdom, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10–11).
Revelation 12 talks about the woman who “gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne” (Revelation 12:5).[1] And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels waged war with the dragon, and the dragon and his angels were not strong enough. So the accuser of our brethren who accused us before our God day and night was cast out of heaven and his angels were thrown down with him (Revelation 12:7–10; Luke 10:18).
The devil had access to the heavenly realms and to God Himself. In the book of Job, satan was in the heavenly places and could speak with the Father (Job 1:6–12). In Zachariah, Joshua the high priest was standing in the presence of God, and satan was accusing him (Zechariah 3:1). The devil threw Scriptures back in God’s face, saying, “These people have been unfaithful. Judge them! You’re God. You’re holy and righteous. Wipe them out!” No wonder God finally got irritated and said, “I am done listening to this!” So God sent His Son to redeem us and cast satan out of heaven.
Part of Christ’s coming to earth was for God to show us His great love for mankind (John 3:16). You have heard about God’s love for you, but it must literally consume your heart and your being and your understanding. God’s love for you is His secret armor. He loved you so much that He did not listen to what satan was saying about you. Do not make it too general. The devil was accusing you before God day and night, telling your Father all the things about you that deserved judgment. But God loved you so much that He could not see the picture satan was painting about you. So God declared, “Enough of this lie! I do not believe it. I love you, My daughter. I love you, My son. You are Mine, and I love you.” The Father loves us just as He loves Yeshua (John 17:23).
God’s armor of immunity is His unwavering love. We will never put an end to satan’s reign in the earth until we are able to silence his voice by this same love of God. When Yeshua walked on the earth, He heard the devil’s accusations about Himself day and night: “You’re breaking the Law. You and Your disciples walked through grainfields, and You didn’t wash Your hands. This immoral woman is washing Your feet. And You’re possessed by Beelzebul the ruler of demons” (e.g., Mark 3:22). Day and night Yeshua had that voice accusing Him. But He grew and opened His heart to one thing: the deep love of the Father for Him. Christ won the war because He knew His Father’s love.
How do we get to the place where we bind satan and execute the judgments written? It is by putting on the full armor of God’s love (Ephesians 6:11). His love is so powerful that it cannot countenance what satan is saying about you or about your brother. When you see yourself according to God’s love for you, you will have this special armor.
