We Are Ambassadors of God’s Love

Yeshua (Jesus) has an amazing destiny for your life! To be aligned with His purpose, you must have a drive to know God and receive a deep experience of His love for you. As the apostle of love reminds us, “We love, because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19).[i] When you are overwhelmed by the Father’s love, it enables you to open your heart to receive all He has for you, as well as share that love with those around you.

The Father’s love is beamed at you continually. The same powerful, unbridled love of the Father that resurrected Christ and seated Him at His right hand is being focused on you. God’s love is the key to walking in His purposes for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, the LORD declares: “For I know the plans that I have for you, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.” Receive His tremendous love so you can walk in all He has planned for you.

The Jewish people never lose the reality that they have a covenant with a loving God who has loved them “with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). Therefore, they do not live with condemnation when they stray from God and His Word. Instead, they confess what they did wrong and know the Father is faithful to forgive them because His covenant of love is everlasting. It is like having loving parents who may discipline you and send you to your room, but you know the love is always waiting for you when you come out. Likewise, we know that “there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1).

As a Christian, you also have a covenant with God the Father through Christ. You have a relationship with the Father where He will not reject or abandon you. His love has the power to transform you, but it must be received. It is important to refuse the lies of the enemy that God does not love and care for you. As you focus on God’s Word, these lies are washed away. God is taking away any walls of resistance and unbelief you may have. When you open up to God’s love, you have to open up to how He thinks about you and what He says you are. When you know His love, you are free to open your heart, confess your needs, and give yourself to Him. You can trust He will have mercy, forgiveness, and receive you with lovingkindness.

The LORD’S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease,
For His compassions never fail.

They are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22–23)

Your Father is determined to impart His deep love to you. God wants to bring transformation to you, as He lovingly writes His Word on your heart and mind. He has the same love for all people and wants you to be His ambassador of the love you have received. Know that all those He has placed in your life (family, relationships and neighbors) are also the focus of God’s powerful love. His great work of redemption through Christ is available to every heart. Now that you have received God’s love, let it flow from your heart to the people around you to transform many and bring them into God’s Kingdom. In John 15:12, Yeshua states, “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.” This is God’s purpose and destiny for you! Nothing can “separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:39).
